Sabrina Sarro

Today we’re getting under the hood with Sabrina Sarro a daughter, sister, friend, and a mixed race/Black, queer, trans* psychotherapist specializing in chronic pain. As someone who also experiences chronic pelvic pain, she empathizes deeply with her patients. She has specialized training in EMDR and IFS and works with many clients experiencing embedded/chronic/recurrent UTIs, Interstitial Cystitis, Vulvodynia, Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, Endometriosis, and PCOS.

As the Lead Psychotherapist at Graymatters (a private mental health practice based in NYC), Sabrina is also a race, gender, and sexuality specialist working with BIPOC/LGBTQIA*/TGNC folks who are also experiencing chronic pelvic pain. In addition to working with clients, she also speaks on issues related to pelvic pain through blogs and podcasts, as well as being highly involved in the pelvic pain online/digital community.

On top of all that, she is currently pursuing her doctorate---focusing on communities of color and the medical-industrial complex.

Listen to Sabrina’s incredible story.
